Hello again!
So I hope you all enjoyed my April Fools’ joke yesterday. I had quite a bit of fun typing that post. However, don’t you worry. I have the real post below. Enjoy!

If you’re like me, then you spend most of your time at work. Eight hours per day, five days per week, you are busy making your company grow. For 160+ hours per month, your primary goal is to move your organization forward.
Because of this, it’s important that you feel as comfortable as you possibly can at your job. Work is like your home away from home. So below are three ways I recommend to improve your work environment. What are some things you do to make your work environment more comfortable? Leave your ideas in the comment section below!
Learn to collaborate.
While it is OK for everyone to do his or her own part, collaboration is key to achieving success in the organization. Work with others around you in order to complete larger projects. Utilize your colleagues’ expertise to accelerate or strengthen the tasks at hand. When you work as a team, you win as a team.
Keep your work space clean.
Clutter can be one of the root causes of your stress. Most of the time, you won’t even recognize that you were tense until AFTER your work space has been cleared. Spend some time each week making sure you stay organized. Put files in their designated spots. Keep the papers on your desk neat. And disinfect often if you need to.
Lighten up a little.
Stop being so uptight all the time. You’re making everyone in the office extremely anxious. And if everyone else feels anxious around you, then you can’t expect anyone in the office to feel comfortable…including you. As long as everything is getting done, it’s OK to have a little fun around the office. Be human once in a while. Smile sometimes.
If you haven’t already, try applying these tips to your own life. As you move forward, you may start to notice a shift in your work habits or a change in your colleagues’ attitudes. Try them out and let me know what you think in the comment section below!
